In California, it is has been known as "Napa Gamay" (though there is no relation to Beaujolais Gamay). Low alcohol and fruity in a pleasant yet nondescript way. Not a varietal that speaks up for itself and boldly declares it's identity.
From this world-class palette of fruit, J. Lohr crafts wines highlighting bold, concentrated flavors and a vibrant sense of place. The winery offers three tiers of award-winning wines produced from estate grapes.
